Introduction

Hi There! I’m delighted that you’ve dropped in for a visit! Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m primarily a self taught artist, I’ve always been truly inspired by Irish country life, Irish people and the beautiful landscape here in Ireland. The freedom of being a self taught artist has allowed me to have no boundaries and to  experiment with many different artistic styles.
I’ve always been inspired by the work of the old masters and classical European art but equally by the skill and ideas of contemporary artists working today. I’ve brought these two contrasting styles together in a complementary way by creating the Iolrachas artistic movement. This unique Irish Art Movement aims to depict life in Ireland in 2021! I hope you enjoy my work as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it!

About Iolrachas

In these hugely turbulent and rapidly changing times, the ability of Ireland as a nation to embrace change while being sympathetic and patriotic to our deep and historical identity has emerged as one our greatest strengths. Ireland continues to embrace multiculturalism & pluralism in an open and receptive way. The Iolrachas Art Movement is a unique Irish Art Movement and seeks to reflect 21st century Ireland through art. This Irish Art Movement was created in 2017 by George Carpendale. Contrasting artistic styles are brought together in a single art work and aims to reflect the open minded and pluralist outlook of Ireland as a nation. The Iolrachas Art Movement sympathetically reflects the Irish cultural identity through a classical style of painting and simultaneously depicts 21st century Ireland’s contemporary way of life.
Iolrachas is the Irish translation for Pluralism.

Ins na laethanta seo atá an-chorraitheach agus ina bhfuil cúrsaí ag athrú de shíor, is é an buntáiste is mó ag Éire ná gan cur in éadan athruithe agus ag an am céanna bheith tuisceanach agus dílis dár féiniúlacht féin. Cuireann Éire fáilte roimh ollchultúrachas agus iolrachas.
Is gluaiseacht faoi leith í Gluaiseacht Iolrachas Ealaíne na hÉireann agus mar aidhm aici Éire san 21ú aois a léiriú trí mheán na healaíne. Bhunaigh George Carpendale an ghluaiseacht seo i 2017. Tugtar stíleanna difriúla ealaíne le chéile in aon saothar amháin agus déantar iarracht dearcadh oscailte agus iolrach Éire mar náisiún a léiriú.
Léiríonn Gluaiseacht Iolrachas Ealaíne cultúr na hÉireann go báúil trí stíl chlaisiceach ealaíne agus ag an am céanna léiríonn sí cúrsaí beatha na linne in Éirinn.
